The 'Old School' Building company

Most homeowners and architects tend to search for potential builders on-line before picking up the phone and inviting the builder to tender for their work. The 'Old School' Building Company had a very basic website that was not performing well with the search engines.

We were asked by The 'Old School' Building Company to redesign and update an their website and improve the search engines rankings of the site www.oldschoolbuilding.com.

We also advised our client to create a regular blog to showcase their latest work which we published via, facebook, twitter and Google+. Accounts which we set up for them.

The Website  - www.oldschoolbuilding.com
The website was split into four sections, the latest work, past projects, details on the company and the services the company proves. Each had a clear and neat section. The website was also intended to be seen by staff so they could take ownership of their work and the website. Nothings sells a company better than contented staff.

Website Maintenence

We also designed the website so the staff and owner could easilly update the website with pictures taken on their phones from the building sites they were working on. This gave a constantly evolving website that the search engines love.

Social Media
We set up Twitter, facebook and Google+ accounts so that when we updated our website we could tell our clients, followers and key specifiers about it.

Search Engine Optimisation
We have used our tricks to help website become more visible and better regarded by the search engines. But don't take my word for it type in 'Builders in Reigate' in Google and see the results!

The view of the client

"Angus set up our new Twitter account which enabled me to post updates about what we were up to from site. He also researched what terms were being used in the search engines and rewrote our website in a way to was search engine friendly! Although these things normally take a while we went straight onto the first page of the google search 'Builders in Reigate' we are delighted with the results."
